Overview
Mercedes is imbuing this tiny Benz with tons of tech and luxury, making it a legitimate baby sib to the mighty S-class. Its clean and aggressive exterior styling is offset by an upscale, roomy interior highlighted by high-tech TFT displays and a nifty voice-recognition system. The ride is comfortable, but the A-class is always ready to play. One engine is offered, but AMG-tuned models are inevitable. All-wheel drive is optional. Look for the A-class to go on sale in late fall 2018.
